Summary of Stephness:

Robin is shocked by the news that Stephanie is pregnant. Stephanie informs him that she got pregnant thanks to a boy who abandoned her during the quake. Robin thinks adoption is the best option, and Steph agrees. After consoling Stephanie, Robin goes on patrol.

Returning to the Batcave, Tim Drake asks for advice from Barbara Gordon about the fact that his girlfriend is pregnant. The next day, friends of Tim Drake discover a strange creature in the ruins and report this to Tim.

In the meantime, Stephanie Brown is with her mother about the placement of her child, but is upset when the woman mentions abortion as an option, considering her pregnancy a mistake she doesn't want the baby to suffer for. She storms out in a huff, to her mother's chagrin.

In the evening, the young Tim Drake is on the scene where his friends have seen the mysterious creature.

The next afternoon, Stephanie and her mother are at the another adoption place. The Director proposes the purchase of her baby to Stephanie and Steph replies sarcasitcally saying loudly, " Why don't we just put Baby For Sale, Free to a Good Home?" Once again, she storms off in a huff.

In the evening, Tim and Steph talk on Steph's roof. Steph admits she's thinking of keeping the baby, and Tim thinks this is a bad idea. He asks Steph to talk it over with her mother.

Then he returns to where his friends have seen the "monster."

After searching the building, he discovered his friends trapped in an airlock and the monster in question turns out to be Steel Jacket.
