Spoiler: "I'm not WORKING for Stitches, for your information. I've been SPYING on him. Trying to see what Intergang knows about Batman's disappearance."
Vigilante: "Then why stop me from turning his head into a canoe?"
Spoiler: "Because even though Batman is gone, his methods aren't. Batman doesn't kill."
A “Batman R.I.P.” tie-in! Batgirl literally has her back against the wall as the remaining Outsiders turn against Gotham City’s youngest protector! With Batman out of the picture, Cassandra Cain finds herself suddenly alone. Will the Outsiders ever be the same? The “Batman R.I.P.” story line continues having devastating effects across the DCU!
Summary of Stephness: Vigilante is about to kill Johnny Stitches when Spoiler (still with random inexplicably Frank Tieri! Invisibility powers) clobbers him. Vigilante unleashes a smoke bomb, which reveals the coughing Spoiler's form, and he punches her and holds her aloft by the neck, asking her why she's working for the Penguin and Stitches. Valiantly trying to punch Vigilante, Spoiler says she's spying on Stitches, and the reason she stopped Vigilante is because she still respects Batman's methods and "Batman doesn't kill". Batgirl interrupts, whacking Vigilante off of Spoiler and pinning him to the wall, saying she has an offer for both of them.
Batgirl adds Spoiler to her network of allies she is creating in Batman's departure, for "stealth".
