Dinah: "From a murder investigation to an after school special. Wonderful."
Steph: "Can I drive?"
Dinah: "Does the word 'never' ring a bell?"
Part of the Bruce Wayne: Murderer? arc.
Black Canary picks up an unwanted sidekick in the Spoiler as she investigates the crime for which Bruce Wayne is accused. Meanwhile, Oracle begins to learn the secret that may have led to the murder, and Robin arrives just in time as the case against Bruce Wayne takes a dramatic turn. All that, and some disturbing news for Blue Beetle, too!
Summary of Stephness: Oracle orders Dinah to go help out Stephanie with her situation at home with her father and The Riddler crashing there. On the car ride over, Stephanie asks about why they're investigating the case with Bruce Wayne being a murderer. Black Canary replies it must be because lost causes is what they do. Steph then asks Dinah if she knows where Batman is, and Canary replies, "Not really. But I have some ideas." Dinah and Stephanie spy on the two crooks in Steph's kitchen, but can't make out their plans. Stephanie admits the Cluemaster threatened to kill her and her mother, and her mother is unaware. She apologizes to Dinah, saying she realizes there's nothing she can do, only to look up and find Canary already heading toward her house. Query and Echo answer the door, and are greeted by Canary's supersonic scream. As Spoiler rushes in after her, Dinah also nails the Cluemaster and Riddler with her cry. She tells them to leave before she brings the JSA down on them and the crooks vacate the premises.
Spoiler is ecstatic. Dinah apologizes about the mess and comments she just got her cry back, but Stephanie says she thinks Dinah did very well, and that she'll tell her mom the crooks made the mess, and then just left.
